The Williamsburg-style SunTrust Bank building at100 East Second Avenue in Rome has been sold from one investment company to another.

Southeast STB Portfolio LLC has sold the building to Fund IV BOB for $2,275,000. Both of the investment companies are based in Atlanta.

Boyd Simpson, a managing member with both Southeast STB and Fund IV BOB, said that Southeast STB purchased a number of buildings from SunTrust, including the Rome bank property about five years ago. Fund IV BOB acquired some those properties. “Nothing unusual, or particularly notable about it one way or the other,” Simpson said. “Just one investor selling to another.”

He said Fund IV BOB has no specific plans for the bank building and will manage it on a business-as-usual basis.
