A car fire on Cedar Avenue on Tuesday night may be the work of an arsonist, according to a Rome police report.
According to the report:
The owner of the 1987 Monte Carlo saw smoke in his car and found a fire in the back seat.
The owner told police he had no idea how it started or who may have started the fire.
The fire marshal was called in to investigate.
