A Rome man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly attacked a man with part of a baseball bat, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

James Jordan Mitchell, 21, of 64 Acorn Road, was charged with felony aggravated assault after he struck the victim on Oct. 2 with a partial bat in the back, side and chest area, causing multiple injuries.

Mitchell, who also charged with probation violation, remained in jail Thursday night.
