A Silver Creek man who was arrested for felony obstruction of a law enforcement officer is free on bond, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Michael Scott Crunkleton, 33, of 823 Dunn Road, actively resisted officers when he was told to leave the scene of a wreck on Abrams Road Saturday night that killed the driver, Michael “Shane” Hann.

Crunkleton pushed an officer in the face with his hand to get to the scene and had to be subdued by the use of a Taser.

The report stated that he was intoxicated and acted in a violent and tumultuous manner by cursing and shouting loudly.

He was also charged with five counts of misdemeanor obstruction of a firefighter, two counts of misdemeanor obstruction of an emergency medical professional, and disorderly conduct.

Rome-Floyd firefighters and Floyd EMS attempted to restrain him both verbally and physically from getting to the scene but he moved past them.
