1 person killed in wreck on I-75 in Gordon County

One person has died as the result of an wreck involving a tractor-trailer on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Authorities say the tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on I-75 near exit 320 when it left the road on the east shoulder and collided with a tree. There were no other injuries reported in the crash, according to the state patrol. The name of the person killed has not been released.

According to authorities on the scene, fuel was leaking from the truck, and there were either possible explosion or poison stickers on the truck.

The wreck caused delays on I-75 for several miles.
