Report: Woman admitted to smoking methamphetamine

A Cave Spring woman was arrested Thursday on drug charges following a traffic stop, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Blanche Denise Warren, 48, of 3 Lee St., Cave Spring, was observed crossing the center line several times and admitted to smoking methamphetamine approximately 30 minutes prior to driving after being pulled over on Walker Mountain Road at Black’s Bluff Road.

She was found with a half bottle of vodka, methamphetamine, a suspected Xanax tablet, a glass smoking device with residue and digital scales.

Warren was charged with felony counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a schedule III controlled substance, and misdemeanor counts of failure to maintain lane, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug-related objects, drugs not in original container and open container violation.

She remained in jail Thursday night without bond.
