On behalf of the Rome Shrine Club I would like to thank the following individuals who helped make our annual Christmas project another huge success in helping needy families throughout Rome and Floyd County. Because of your generosity we were able to provide Christmas gifts for 56 families with a total of 149 children.

These individuals include members of the Rome Firefighters Charity Club, Kathy Gadsden and the employees of Coosa Valley Federal Credit Union on Dean Street, John Spranza and the students of Georgia Highlands College, Amber Jordan and the students at Georgia Northwestern Technical College, members of the Silver Creek United Methodist Church, and the East and West Rome Walmart stores.

With the downturn in the economy we had people who needed help this year who had never had to ask for help in the past. We were able to help all these people because of the giving spirit in our community and we at the Rome Shrine Club want you to know how much it is appreciated. Again, many thanks.
