Angela Agan Couey and Mark Lewis Vinson, both of Rome, announce their engagement.

Miss Couey is the daughter of Glenda Hartley Agan of Rome and Herman Earl Agan of Silver Creek. Vinson is the son of Lorraine Hubert Vinson of Rome and the late James Lewis Vinson.

The bride-elect is a 1985 alumnus of Pepperell High School. She is the mother of Benjamin D. Couey of Rome and the sister of Anthony and Michael Agan, both of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Hartley of Rome, the late Luther Hartley and the late Herman and Rovenia Agan.

Vinson is a 1975 graduate of West Rome High School. He is employed by Ackerman Fiscal Agent and The Dixie Rhythm Band currently performing at the American Legion Post 5 in Rome.

The groom-elect is the brother of Joel Vinson of Rome. He is the grandson of the late Sydney and Mary Hubert and the late William and Lucy Vinson.

The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the Shanklin Attaway American Legion Post 5 in Rome. A reception will follow.
