The issue of Georgia taxpayers’ dollars supporting private schools is at the center of a new debate.

A 2008 law allows Georgians to take a tax credit after making a charitable donation to certain private schools and student scholarship organization but Monday the Southern Education Foundation filed a complaint about the tax credit to the Georgia Department of Revenue.
