Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. McRae of Cedartown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Anne McRae, to Captain Matthew Douglas Waterfield (United States Army), son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard F. Setili and Mr. and Mrs. Brian Douglas Waterfield of Warren, Penn.

Miss McRae is a 2001 graduate of Cedartown High School. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia where she graduated magna cum laude with honors. She is currently pursuing her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College

of Pharmacy.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Hugh McRae of Rockmart and the late Jean McRae, Martha Barr of Tifton, and the late Marcus H. Barr Sr.

Waterfield is a 1998 graduate of Eisenhower Senior Middle High School in Russell, Penn. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science from North Georgia College

and State University. He currently serves as the senior signal planner in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lee Rubright of Sheffield, Penn.

A May wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church in Cedartown.
