Dear Adairsville residents, as a granddaughter of the late Jasper and Ola Mae Payne who lived on Lawrence Street in Adairsville, I just want to let you know how very sorry I am for all the destruction that occured in the tornado. In all my 64 years, I never remember hearing of a tornado in Adairsville and was so surprised by it, as I am sure all of you are. In the coming days as you clean up and heal from your injuries, just know that many people around the country are thinking of you and praying for you.
