CHATSWORTH, Ga. (AP) — State fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a blaze that killed a man in the north Georgia town of Chatsworth.

State Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens says his office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are probing the Tuesday evening fire at a mobile home in the Murray County community.

Murray County Sheriff's Office Capt. John Cherry tells the Daily Citizen of Dalton that the home was fully involved by flames by the time firefighters arrived. The man's body was discovered in a bedroom.

Hudgens said in a statement that the man's body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta for an autopsy.

The Murray County Sheriff's Office and the Murray County Fire Department are assisting with the investigation.
