Network Day Service Center Inc. conducted a ribbon cutting for the opening of their new Employment Development building. Network is a nonprofit agency which provides services for developmentally disabled citizens of Floyd and surrounding counties. Employment Development will provide training to increase work skills to assist in securing employment. Through effective training, individuals receive the support they need to be successful and the opportunity to find rewarding employment in our community. The network’s board of directors are Joy Jones (from left), Mary Hardin Thornton, Scott Henson, Jenny Shealy (Executive Director of Network), Scott Bentley, Patsy Cooper, Ruth Forrester and Charles Schroeder.
