Larry and Ann Gore
They met at Coosa High School and began dating as sophomores. They were married Feb. 22, 1963 at Unity Baptist Church in Rome. Reverend Cecil Wright officiated.
Larry retired from Lockheed Martin after 36 years. Ann, an executive secretary for most of her career, retired from R. R. Donnelley.
The Gores have two children, Darvey Gore of Douglasville and Selina Moon of Powder Springs. They have two grandchildren.
The Gores now reside in Powder Springs.
The couple celebrated their anniversary in Jekyll Island and renewed their vows at Christ Church in St. Simons on their anniversary date.
