Rev. and Mrs. Rudolf Rex Hussmann of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Lancaster Hussmann, to William Aldridge Foss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim M. Foss of Rome.

Miss Hussmann is a 2005 graduate of Rome High School. She graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton with a Master of Education degree in Speech Language Pathology.

She is employed as a Speech Language Pathologist at “More Than Words” Pediatric Therapy Associates in Valdosta.

The groom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Darlington School in Rome. He graduated from Valdosta State University in Valdosta with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. He is employed as a Regional Property Manager at Dewar Properties in Valdosta.

A fall wedding is planned at Morris Chapel at Darlington School with a reception to follow at Forrest Place Hotel. Invitations will be sent.
