A baseball bat-wielding man accused of going door-to-door in search of another man faces criminal charges, Floyd County Jail records state.

Michael Steven Boswell, 34, of 515 Friday Road, is charged with loitering and possession of methamphetamine, records state.

According to reports, Boswell was on Tency Lane about 4 p.m. Tuesday. Someone saw him get a firearm and a baseball bat from a vehicle and then begin searching door-to-door for another man.

An officer arrived and arrested Boswell, who was found with a small amount of meth in his jacket, reports state.

Boswell remained in jail Tuesday night without bond.
