Miss Morrison graduated from West Georgia University with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She is employed at Rome Cinemas.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Virginia Martin of Rome, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Roberson of Rome, Margaret Morrison of Rome, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Overton of Opelika, Ala., the late Ernest Stephens, the late C. L. Martin and the late John Albert Morrison.
She is the sister of NaTonya Roberson of Gainsville, Steve Roberson of Rome, Brandon Roberson of Rome and Mikie Morrison of Rome.
The groom-elect attended Lanier Technical College and is employed at Sonny’s Restaurant in Rome. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pannell of Waco, Texas, Billie Jane Porter of Waco, Texas, and the late Paul Porter. He is the brother of Claire Porter of Alpharetta.
The wedding is planned for April 20, 2013 at the Rome Area History Museum in Rome. Invitations will be mailed.
