Christopher Alan Hamilton
Christopher Alan Hamilton, 21, faces a fugitive from justice charge, records state.
According to reports, an officer responded to the 200 block of East 20th Street about 9:30 p.m. Thursday in reference to a possible prowler. When he arrived he saw Hamilton, who lives nearby.
The officer asked if Hamilton had seen anyone. Hamilton, who gave his name and date of birth to the officer, said he’d seen no one and was just walking to the store, reports state.
The officer then discovered Hamilton had an arrest warrant out of Alabama and took him into custody, records state.
Hamilton remained Friday night in the Floyd County Jail.
