The Balkan Quartet will present a night of Eastern European music on Saturday at Heritage Hall Center Stage.

“Music Outside the Bachs: Folk Music of Eastern Europe” is the name of the concert which will be performed by The Balkan Quartet, a string group comprised of violinist Sinisa Ciric and violist Mirna Ogrizovic-Ciric from Serbia; American violinist Patrick Ryan; and Bulgarian cellist Martin Gueorguiev.

The quartet performs traditional string repertoire, combined with the works of contemporary composers and is in residence at the Georgia Perimeter College in Atlanta.

The concert takes place Saturday, 7:30 p.m. at Heritage Hall Center Stage located at 415 E. Third Ave. in Rome.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and will be available at the door on the night of the performance.
