Miss McDonald is a Coosa High School graduate. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Berry College and her master’s degree from the University of Georgia. She is employed at Oxford Industries in Atlanta.
The bride-elect is the sister of Heather Leigh McDonald of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. J.M. Vaughn of Rayle, the late J.M. Vaughn and the late Mr. and Mrs. M.W. McDonald Sr.
Davie is a graduate of Lovett School in Atlanta and received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Georgia. He is a member of Hands On Atlanta and Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. He is employed at E-Store.com Inc. in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the brother of Louise Marie Davie and James Stephen Davie, both of Atlanta, and Robert Franklin Davie Jr. of Durham, N.C. He is the grandson of Mrs. Alonzo James Stowers of Atlanta, the late Alonzo James Stowers and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Welborn Davie Jr.
A private wedding is planned for noon, Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Berry College Chapel. A reception will be held at Horseleg Plantation Country Club. Invitations will be sent
