Rome police arrested two men Saturday in connection with a drive-by shooting on Harvey Street late Friday night, reports reported.

Devin LaShawn Watts, 19, of 417 Calhoun Ave., and Ahmaad Rashard Griffin, 19 of 11 Billy Pyle Road, were charged with aggravated assault with a gun and participation in street crime activity, according to a Rome Police Department report.

Four errant shots were fired from a grey 1992 Ford Crown Victoria at the home of Brandon Rashard Thomas at 4 Harvey St. at about 11:27 p.m., according to the report. The shots were fired as Thomas entered his home, the report stated. No one was injured.

Police believe the shooting may be linked to another shooting two weeks ago during a burglary at 2 Burnett St., according to the report.
