The two-day event was held downtown at the New Orleans Convention Center, and included more than 200 teams from across the country.
By the end of competition on Sunday, all three teams from Hot Shots finished in the top three of their division.
In the Junior Coed Level 3 division, the Hot Shots Scorchers took third place. In the Senior Level 4 division, the Hot Shots Hurricanes placed second. And in the Senior Coed Level 5 division, the Hot Shots Twisters also took second place.
At a national event that included All-Star programs with as many as 17 All Star teams, the three teams from Hot Shots distinguished themselves as one of the best small gym programs at the event, and one of the only small gym programs to compete and earn “top 3” finishes in the highest competitive levels against the biggest programs at the event.
The Hot Shots All-Stars continue their competitive season on March 21 at the Georgia Open Championship at Kennessaw State University.
Tryouts for the 2010-2011 Hot Shots All Stars will be held in May. For more information, contact Coach Rachel Magness at 706 235-SHOT or online at www.
